Does anyone know what breed she is?

    This is our hen does anyone know what breed she is? Her name is speckles.

    Another mixed breed. I can see Wyandotte, from the nice rounded body shape and rose comb. Likely Orpington with the white skin. Probably also some production Red or New Hampshire in the mix.

    Would you say she has some welsummer in her? We hatched one of her eggs and it looks like a welsummer mix chick.

    No, I don't see any Welsummer in her. The Welsummer chick color pattern (wild type/partridge) can be found in many different breeds and mixes, even those that have no Welsummer in them.

    Agree with this. That chipmunk looking pattern is the most common markings for chicks.
