    Hi all,
Does anyone know what breed these 2 hens and 1 rooster are?
I bought them at an Amish sale and the tag said rare breed and I lost the tag as soon as I got them home. They are sweet birds and wouldn't part with them.
I would just like to know what they are. Thanks for your help as I know one of you wonderful folks can tell me.

Thanks to all who answered. All 3 are rumpless. The hens have the darkest eyes I have ever saw, almost a blood red in color I guess I was taken in by an Amish scam artist with his saying they were a "rare breed" Oh well, Live and learn. They are nice birds to me.
    Thanks,
    Karen

Well they are hard to get to hatch I think. So you got lucky I would love to have them.

Actually, if they are true Araucana they are kinda rare. You can only get them from breeders and not from hatcheries.. lots of people look for them in their areas and can't find them. So, enjoy ... their blue eggs will be fun!

I'd say Araucana mixes... but I'd need a bigger pic to say they were true Araucanas.
