My son picked this chick up at a trade show back in September. He just loves it but I was wondering exactly what kind it is? A type of Bantom maybe? I can't imagine it'll get very big. Hen or Roo?

I'd vote it is a roo, and I would say some kind of gold lace is in his heritage.

I am kinda hoping it's not a rooster [IMG] we already have 5 and that's getting to be too many as they get older. My son will fight us before getting rid of this one.

It's a mille fleur color pattern. I would say a D'Uccle but I see no foot feathers so it narrows it down to the kind of bantam breed SHE is.

Is it possible that it's a D'anver? [IMG] Since there are no feathered feet? But then again it doesn't have a beard.. so....

SHE'S very pretty. I don't see any saddle feathers and she looks like a hen to me. The mille fleur pattern should be some kind of clue.

I'd say a Mille Fleur OEGB like this one on Feathersite. Ya know, we'd all be in such a mess without Feathersite. [IMG]

i have a mille fleur mix with that color pattern, so i vote for that. And it sure looks like a girl to me. Very pretty.
