On the other forum last year someone had a recipe for the pumpkin guts that was a natural de-wormer for chickens. There were many ingredients but the only other one I remember was cinnamon. I thought I saved it but now I can't find it. Thanks, Jen [IMG]

I did the same, just dumped the whole pile of guts in there and they were gone by the next time I checked! I think there was something about mixing the seeds with buttermilk or yogurt, but I don't have that kind of time or energy. [IMG]

Same here. Just tossed all the guts in to them and they went crazzzzy!

Pumpkin guts are their absolute favorite treat.......they eat the seeds whole no problem. And the fact that the seeds are a natural worming agent is a triple plus.

Being one to always go the simplest route first, I find no need to add anything else since they love it so much in its "natural" state. JMO [IMG]
