Does anyone sell the extra chicks? Where at? Swap meets? Garage Sales?

I am not planning on being in the chicken business.... BUT I just got a little carried away and have about 50 too many chickens and now a flock of about 150ish... when the broilers get here. (they won't be spared and I will be back to a comfortable 120 chickens)

(LOL Am I the ONLY one that that is this chicken insane???)

I am planning on letting a few broodys hatch some chicks.

Where does anyone sell chicks? how much for? I KNOW there is a shortage of chicks at mots hatcheries this year on most breeds.

Give Craigslist a try. I see people selling chicks on there all the time. Good luck.

craigslist is a great source to sell your chicks! I found all but 4 of mine on craigslist, you could i post them for sale here, on byc Good Luck!

Look for your state here on BYC in the "Where am I where are you section". Then look for your state trading list here on BYC in the "shows and swaps section" and last list them in the chicks for sale here on BYC.

Craigslist! They are generally gone within two days.

I sell most of mine thru chicken swaps, craigslist, and word of mouth, now that I have been in the poultry business for awhile.

I sold some extra chicks on craigslist, they were gone in about 5 hours.

You could maybe try posting a flyer at your feed store too? (That's how we got rid of 12 guinea keets)
