Does avian pox last forever and is there a cure once a chicken already has it???help

    A few of my chickens have it and I'm worried its about to spread cam anybody give me advice?? Thanks

    Once a chicken gets it it lasts about 3 weeks, and then they are immune to it. There is dry fowl pox which is pretty mild, and wet pox which is much more serious, and can be deadly. http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044
