Does he look like a blue carrier...

OK today is hatch day at my house....and so far all of the eggs that have hatched from my black austrolorps and black marans have produced blue chicks. This has me a little confused because all of my other hatches they have hatched out black chicks as expected, however with my last hatch we had 7 different roosters, I got rid of all but the one pictured below. So I guess my question is does he look like he carries blue to you? I will post a pic of when he was younger also. This obviously the only explanation right?

He definitely is blue, or actually splash.

Thank you I questioned awhile back if he was a splash but convinced myself he wasn't because of the other coloring on him. But when he started throwing blues, I figured that must be the only plausible explanation because none of my hens are blue.
