I see some small white dots. Is this normal? His comb gas never been really bright red. He's almost 3 months old.

Definitely different. They're all barnyard mixes, but to me, the second one seems more like a "traditional" rooster.Look like different breeds or mixes. So there would be some differences in combs. The white could be just some dry areas, but nothing of concern really.

'Traditional' roosters have single combs because that's the most common breed most places. Those combs are just as normal as the single combs
