Does hot weather slow egg laying down??

When it is so hot out do the hens slow down laying?

Sure can. Anything that stresses the birds out can cause them to lay less eggs.

We have been having upper 90 degree weather here. (unusually hot!) Mine are laying as usual, but they do go through a lot more water.

It hit 100 big un' yesterday and I got 12 eggs from 13 hens. They are great girls.
