does it have to do with the breed?

hi i got some chicks(pullets) and they are around 2 weeks old. they are becoming feathered, i also got a few other breeds and they are still little fluff balls. are the pullets getting feathered unlike the others because of the pullets breed? thanks.

Different breeds mature differently, and birds within breeds mature differently - just like people.

Also with - in the same breed males generally develop slower - which can be a clue to their gender but, not 100% accurate. hen you chicks are 6-8 weeks old you can post photos of them at "what breed or gender is this."
