Does Little rooster look ok?

This is Little Rooster
He is 4 weeks old, all bones, very skinny, and kinda ugly

This is big rooster ; same age


Now big rooster is a poop eater ( in fact I think they all do)

So what do ya all think ????????

Are they both the same breed? what breed are they?

He looks awkward but they often do as they feather out.

These are Buff Orphingtons , and he looks very naked com paired to all of the other 10,
this is one of the hens

Sometimes you get runts...he will hopefully catch up later in growth.

I have seen that in a lot of chicks his age. One batch of chicks I raised, the whole group of 5 of one color was like that. I think it must be a genetic thing. He should get his feathers soon.

Now in an older chicken with a lot of feather loss, you think mites or molt (or feather picking). But for his age, I would say it is just a variation of normal.

Just my opinion!
