    1) What type of bird , age and weight. Frizzle Cochin 4-5 weeks, unknown weight
    2) What is the behavior, exactly. Lays around, limps on right foot, but prefers to lay down. Yesterday we noticed some shaking in the leg.
    3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms? a few days, since we acquired the chick
    4) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma. No sign just the limp in the leg
    5) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation. The chick appears to be the weaker of the four chicks we have, it will not perch on the small roost in the cage
    6) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all. We have noticed some eating and drinking of the starter crumbles we have
    7) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc. Hard to tell since we have 4 chicks in one cage
    8) What has been the treatment you have administered so far? Separate from other chicks in the same cage
9 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet? Not sure looking for what we should do
    10) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.
    11) Describe the housing/bedding in use Wire cage with Aspen bedding with heat lamp overhead

P.S. the breeder said the chicks were vaccinated for Mareks.
