DOES MY DOG NEED SPECIAL SHOTS NOW THaAT I HAVE CHICKENS?

I have 6 baby chickens and my dog shares a yard,, they will free range some, but they have their own pen, Do I need to get my dog any special shots now that I have chickens?

I think that's a really good question. I have never heard of any vaccines needed. dogs do like to eat chicken poop & they get the stuff on their paws. they eat the chicken feed when given the chance - but I haven't heard of any problems associated w/this.

I continue with my regular shot schedule with my dog. I would call the vet and ask but I don't believe anything special is needed.
