Does my hen look like a rooster?

When I picked out my first ever hen (PoL) in September 2020, from a breeder, I chose her because she looked tall and healthy! Recently, I have noticed she looks REALLY like a rooster (she is definitely a girl!) compared to her sister! Is this just me? She is on the right (red leg band) in this pic...

It is hard to tell gender with this breed!

No crowing and laying eggs is key to identify gender with them.

I know she is definitely a girl, she just kinda LOOKS like a boy

It looks like a cushion or rose comb. It looks a bit bit for a pullet

She is nearly a year old, sometimes lays eggs (but after being broody she has stopped for a bit) and is a pure breed silkie

Your hen is a good example of why silkies should be held onto longer!

The egg or the crow is often the only way to tell for sure LOL!
