Hey yall this pullet is around six weeks old and I only just found this today. Is her toe broken? It’s way turned to one side, and I gently tried to bend it back to see if I could, (I had like barely any pressure on it at all, just seeing if it would reposition) and it only kinda was straight but would not flex the other way. She runs around fine and acts normal. Wondering if I should or if there’s a way to splint it? Any advice appreciated.

It’s only the middle toe on the one foot, she was moving around crazy and her other toes were bent weird in some of the pictures but they are all normal, only the one on her right foot is crooked.

Has the toe always been like that? I have absolutely no idea how to tell if a toe a broken but my rooster was born like this. He walks around and roosts just fine :)

I cannot remember seeing this before. I’ve heard of ways to correct curled toes but I don’t know if it’s broken or what.

Yeah I've seen people make little sandals for their chicks but only when they're super young. I think when they're a bit older that it'll just be like that. Anonymous (my rooster) gets around just fine, mounts the girls, scratches the dirt, roosts normally, and everything.
I'm sure your girl will live a normal happy life!

If she is not acting in pain or limping there is a good chance she has always had the toe and you never noticed. At this age she is too old to correct it and if she is otherwise perfectly normal I would just let her be.

I would leave it ge as well.
Sometimes it's from injury or it can be genetic.

Over the years I have had a couple that developed a "bent toe" at that age. They all did fine and lived long lives. As she ages you may need to trim the nail more often than on straight toes.
