I have a broody hen that has been sitting on two eggs. We went out tonight and to our surprise one of the eggs has hatched but the shell on the other one has been cracked almost all the way off of the egg and it is just mostly membrane around the chick. The chick seems to be moving well and chirping inside. Will it be able to get out? Will momma hen help? What should we do?
