Does this coop have enough ventilation? (Pics)

I'm thinking I will modify this one. I am thinking of cutting two rectangle windows on the front and circles above the door and above the window above the roosting boxes.
I may also do some of the same holes on the sides, as well. I will also put two fans in there in the summer. Once I get it, I can get a better idea of all the modifications I can do to make it more comfortable for them.

A small deep fan, that moves lots of air, set high and tightly to exhaust will pull fresh air thru all the other openings.
Think about how a whole house fan works, it's set into the ceiling and blows into the attic, pulling fresh hopefully cooler air thru whatever windows are open. You can open and close windows to control how the incoming air flows thru house. I don't have A/C but have a whole house fan, it's a great tool.

Do you have an example of what your talking about? This sounds like a good idea.
We used to have a fan in the ceiling if our ranch house when I was a kid. I loved it. It was so loud, but worked well. We would open all windows and turn that big thing on.

Quote: Ah, then you understand the concept!

There are so many options out there, you'd have to shop it out looking at size vs cfm (the amount of air by cubic foot moved per minute).....I have no idea how you'd figure what kind of cfm you'd need. Just google 'exhaust fan', 'shop exhaust fan', 'bathroom exhaust fan'.

A bathroom exhaust fan might work:

Ty!
We were going to do a shingles roof, but I'm thinking it may be better to put a metal/tin roof on so it's not the dark color of the shingle. Will the tin help to deflect sun and heat or am I better off with a different material? It has the pine roof now, but has areas that could leak, so we need something over top to prevent rain getting in.

I think shingles are more insulative than metal....what ever you use I'd go with alight color to reflect sunlight rather than absorb heat.
