Does this egg look normal? Photos included

Hi. I candled my 4 fertile incubated eggs last night at day 10. All look like this with strong veins at one signed and none at the other side. Is this normal or should I be worried??

That is weird. It looks like the air sac is too large. I'm not sure though, so don't take my word for it.

Have they been turned? I am not a hatcher, by the way - there is a thread called Call Ducks Finally Hatched, and there are hatchers there you could ask them.

Yes, are you turning them sufficiently (at least 3 times a day, but more is better so long as it's an odd number of times a day).

Sometimes eggs just develop like this though, even if turned properly. My last batch did this as well and they were turned 5 times a day. All of mine hatched out just fine. Yours should continue to fill out as they develop and should look more normal in another week. No worries!

Oh thankyou that's really reassuring. Yes turning them about 5 times a day. Will candle them in a couple of days and fingers crossed they will have filled out thankyou!!
