My eggs have been in the incubator for 1 wk now. Might sound stupid but they feel heavier than when I put them in. Is this possible because the chicks are growing? Sorry if dumb just stumped:)

Well... not really.. Eggs loose weight during incubation.. I believe the ideal amount is about 18 precent.

I don't have fertile chicken eggs, but I swear I can feel fertile, developing button quail, ring neck dove, and zebra finch eggs. Must be in my mind too [IMG]

mine have always felt heavier .... as the chicks have gotten bigger inside the shell.
