I'm planning on setting some quail eggs next month, while making lunch I noticed some chicken eggs that looked a little different but I'm not sure if they're bullseyes. I e-mailed the farm and they said they do have roos but I wasn't clear if they keep them with their layers. So do these look fertile? I can't compare them to the quail eggs cause the quail bullseye is roughtly the size of a pinhead at best.

I think they might be fertile. I have had eggs with large spots without really being a bulls-eye, but the spot was bigger than on an infertile egg. I incubated some eggs and they all hatched out so I guess they were fertile.

I have no idea. Please throw them into a brownie or cookie mix, bake, then send them to me. [IMG]
