It was supposed to have been a Silver Pencil Plymouth Rock but it doesn't look anything like my other sppr's when they were newly hatched. Ideas? What chicks are born with black feet and legs? Options are: SPPR, Jersey Giants (black, blue), Blue Ameraucanas, Olive eggers, and Marans except the chick came out of a light tan w/dark speckles so its not a Maran.
Quite possibly.I raised the Jersey for about 4 year's.They are born with a bit of white under the neck but it gose away.I riased and sold so many chick's from them. They are awesome sturdy bird's very large and lay VERY good.Very cold weather hardy and will lay good even in cold weather.Hope ya got a Jersey there you wont be disapointed with it.It's adorable.
