Does yellow dot always mean cockerel?

I've tried searching the forums for help with this, but I just can't seem to get it. I had two chicks hatch, one was Black Sex Link rooster over Cochin female and the second was the same rooster over a Cream Crested Legbar (busy boy). Both chicks are black with a yellow dot. Would these be sex linked and I'm not the proud owner of more cockerels or is there a chance they may be pullets.

I'm sorry if this gets asked over and over but the genetics threads sometimes go right over my head!

No. Only if the resulting chicks are sexlinked. The sexlinked male will pass barring to some males and some females, which will both show a dot
