Ready for a nap after a long night, but I'm hungry. So is DH who just got up awhile ago after working until 3 AM.

What to eat?

Fried egg sandwiches made with eggs still warm from the nestbox. Doesn't get any better than that, well it could if I could eat some tomatoes on that sandwich. Can't have tomatoes and I'd really like some for my sandwich.

Why no tomatoes? Too acid?
You need to raise your own pig now and get someone to make you some bacon. We did that and had it with our hen's eggs. Best sandwich ever!

Well, if they're homegrown and not commercial varieties. . . But if they aren't, skip em.

I was recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Making a list of foods I have to avoid based on how well I tolerate them. Unfortunately I found out tomatoes fall into that category.
