My chickens were attacked 2 days ago. Animal control had to tranqualize the dog because it was under our shed with the chickens trapped there. One of the chickens has a hurt wing and a broken toe. She limps pretty badly. She is eating out of my hand and drinking water with antibiotics in it. She is "talking" to me. Very quiet noises. She is also grinding her beak which she has never done before. There are no injuries to her head or neck. Any ideas what the grinding means?
