I have left over dog food. Can I feed it to my hens as a treat?

Yes. I have read that you can in moderation. As a treat like you said, it should be fine.

Like the chicken, the dog is almost an omnivore . . .

Well, actually the chicken IS an omnivore (more like us [IMG]). The dog is more of an "almost omnivore."

Keep in mind the cat ain't! An omnivore that is, it is carnivorous. So, it can't be trusted - but, everybody who isn't in denial knows this about a cat.

Can't trust it's food either. [IMG]

(This note is addressed to BossDog . . . cat-lovers can ignore it [IMG].)
