Dog Kennel chicken coop combo thoughts?

I'm putting in a new outbuilding and need storage, outdoor dog kennel (for when she's too muddy to come inside until she dries!), and a small chicken coop/run. I was going to put them separate but hope that having the close proximity will decrease my raccoon attacks. Has anyone tried this?

I depends on the dog and how strong their prey drive is. A couple of my dogs would be fine being near the chicken coop. They would just ignore the chickens. However, my other two dogs would be horrible. They would spend all their time trying to figure out how to get to the chickens to chase them.

You know your dog best and know how they behave.
