Dogs have roundworms, should I deworm my flocks just in case?

Our two dogs have just been diagnosed with roundworms, our 10 month old puppy has been showing symptoms for a couple of weeks. They are just starting medication for it today. I figure if my dogs have gotten worms than it's likely our chickens have it too. We have had them for a little over a year now and we have never dewormed them. I haven't noticed any worms in their poop or anything but I haven't really had time to check. Should they be dewormed and if so with what?

Many kinds of worms are picky about what animal they live in, so dog worms might not infect chickens.

I would not deworm the chickens unless they actually get diagnosed with worms (your vet might be able to check the chicken droppings for worms, even if they do not treat chickens in other ways.)
