dom chicks freaking out?

Hey guys, just wondering if this is normal, or if doms are flighty... I have 11 dominiques in a 100 gal stock tank, but they freak out when I even go near the tank???? They try to fly up it if I slowly put my hand in, and I really don't do fast moves.... Lol... Any thoughts guys?

I have 6 Dominiques that are about a month & a half old. They are very skittish! They always freak out when I go near the coop, so I have been trying to just spend more time with them. I take a small milking stool & just sit in the center of the coop. Sometimes I even sprinkle a little scratch around my feet so they are more tempted to come closer. It has helped some. They have made some improvement over the last few days. Just try to hang out with them if you can!

To tame chicks, I suggest every time you go to their run and/or coop, bring feed. I did this with my super jumpy lakenvelder and leggern, and a week later, when I walked in the coop, they came running!
