Dominique roo?

    Can anyone tell if this is a roo or not, or can we even tell at this age. I believe this pic was when it was about 5 weeks old. Thank you in advance... this one squwalks more then the rest (all same age but different breeds) who chirp. [​IMG]

    He's pretty light. The roos are usually lighter, hens darker.

    Sorry, I think cockerel. He's too light to be a pullet, IMO. But then, on occasion, you will get a lighter than normal pullet. Sexing rules of Doms are the same as Barred Rocks. Males are much lighter in color almost every time.

    Yeah, I had a few of those in the ornamental run I got 3 months ago. Pullet for sure :)

    a definate pullet if its a barred rock

    mine had a definate comb and wattles


    that one looks like every one of our pullets
