I heard a strange noise down by the creek last night about seven pm and walked down to find Pac, my one year old Dominique pacing back and forth and making this strange noise.

We've had predator problems pretty bad this past week, but no one was missing last night. He didn't stop making the noise when I got there either, so I'm just wondering what on earth was going on. Any clues?

Unusual?....The roos do that all the time. Is the "eggsong" in the voice of a tenor. (that song not only means an egg, also means : "Attention stranger".[IMG]

Yep, he was suspicious of something and letting the others know about it. He was doing a good job of being a roo- keeping an eye on things and warning the flock. Who knows what he saw. It could have been a hawk, it could have been a butterfly, but it was something that startled him.
