I was given a 1905 SOP by a very special friend and was surprised at the illustration of the Dominiques compared to the one accepted today. I thought everyone would enjoy seeing it. I apologize for not knowing how to turn the picture around so it would be easier to view for everyone.

That is so cool. I know that the original cornish has changed so much and the plymouth rock too.

If you get a chance to see or better yet, buy, the book written by Mark Fields on the American Dominique, it is worth the $25, he used to have them on Ebay.

The 1905 SOP is what I plan to use with our breeding program.
we have decided that the Dominique will be chicken breed of focus for Buzzard's Roost Homestead Farm.
we are also going to be breeding American blue rabbits exclusively.
