    Ok, we got this yesterday, it works great, where do I find the model for it? It looks like my old Singer but it's newer I'm pretty sure.

    It looks like there is a metal tag screwed to the top of the motor that may have the info on it.

    There is on the motor but it's just for the motor not the machine. The motor was added later after manufacture.

    Check the steel sewing plate for any engraving and also the underside of the machine. Often Singer would put a model number there.

    The only number I've found so far is the serial number, Singer said they can find the model through the serial number so I should have it by tomorrow.

    Beautiful machine! I'm thinking it's the one before the 201, can't remember what model number that is exactly, but that is a beautiful machine!
