Dot, one of my Leghorn hens freezes like those funny goats from Hawaii

I have a young Leghorn hen who does this funny thing everytime I go into the enclosure with her and her eighteen sisters. She's the only one who does this. When I go in, she freezes at the doorway with her wings out-like those goats that are paralyzed when they're scared and fall over. I can and usually pick her up to pet her head and under her chin. None of the other girls do this. Has anyone experienced this with their hens or roos? It's the funniest thing.

she's squatting. she thinks you are her sexy rooster who has come to pleasure her.

is she approaching the age to lay? if she isn't already laying, she's gearing up for it.

Oh wow. The DH is laughing his butt off right now. I guess she doesn't like Stevie, our Easter Egger cross who is the boy in the pen. At least I know someone still thinks I'm sexy!
