I'm trying to get an idea of how many roos will need new homes. As near as I can tell, 3 BRs, the EE, and at least 50% of the Delawares are not going to be added to my laying flock.
I wasn't able to get pics of all 14 Delawares, but from the ones I have you can at least tell me if my instincts are right:
#1 -- big man on campus
#2 -- pullet on the left, roo on the right
#3 -- pullet (the most severely pecked at prior to moving to the coop)
#4 -- Dumplin' (roo)
#5 -- Johnny B (roo)
#6 -- pullet
#7 -- roo (he turned his head so his comb doesn't show, but it's almost as developed as the other two)
I forgot to upload a shot of the EE. I'll try to add it tomorrow.
