Going tomorrow to purchase a flock from some folks that are moving and can't take their chickens with them , they made me a price of $80 , for 60 head of 5 or 6 different breeds ( all full size heavy chickens ) and 54 of them are laying hens wih 1 quareentene pen and 1 other 12x12 pen open it is going to be a challenge to house them all , getting BCM , doms , rir , welsumer , brama (light and dark ) , and now I'll finally have somthing for all those folks that keep coming by to buy some chickens .
Have seen this flock grow up and they are in good shape and have been well tended so I'm comfortable with mixing them in right away . I know that the price made to me is only a fraction of their worth but I let them set the price .
