I currently have three laying hens thinking about getting a drake. Is this ok? Will they kill each other and what could I feed them all?

[IMG] I would advise against adding a drake to a flock of chicken hens. There is the possibility of injury if a drake breeds a chicken hen.

Do you mean duck hens or chicken hens? As Sour pointed out - a Drake could injure chicken hens. Or even kill them. Duck and chickens do not have the same anatomy.

You may want to post on the "Duck thread."

If you'd like to check in with the duck forum, you can get there with this:
    https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

Clarifying if you're talking about female ducks or female chickens will get you a more helpful response.

    Thanks for joining us!
