Drink cup question....

I was looking for a better way to water my birds (sick and tired of cleaning out all of the dirt form my waterers) and was directed to the drink cup system from G.Q.F. from someone on the internet. I would like to know if anyone on here as used this system before and if so what was your experience like?
Also how many birds per cup do you recommend?

The waterer cups are the best way to water chickens. It has fresh water that they can drink from, which is what chickens prefer.

How many birds can 1 cup water?

Each cup is rated for 40 birds. I prefer more of a ratio like 1 cup per 10 birds or 2 cups for a flock smaller than 10.

Nipples are good too but it is more natural for chickens to drink from a cup.

One issue dealing with cup is freeze water in the winter. The nipples will solve that problem by adding the submersible aquarium water heater.
