My chicks are 3 weeks old today and I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out the sexes [IMG] I honestly didn't think I would be this impatient!
I am pretty positive with my Light Brahma's that I have a cockeral because the difference in them is so dramatic. But I can't tell with my Buff Orpington's, Barred Rock or Silver Laced Wyandottes. I have two SLW and suddenly today one of them has a dark pink comb and the other one's comb is still yellow- so now it's got me wondering?
So how much longer do I have to be patient?? [IMG]

I know exactly how you feel. I went through the same thing. I thoroughly examined my chicks everyday for days staring at their combs, wattles, and looking for thin hackle and saddle feathers until I was sure.

Post pictures of your chicks in a new thread and ask others opinions. [IMG]. Some are easier to sex then others. Wyandottes are tough to sex sometimes.
