    My new 2 week old ducklings Wayan and Ketut love cuddles.
    As our cuddles for the night finished and it was time for bed, I took my babies as I always do off to their bed.
    Wayan wiggled and made his way onto my shoulder, as I tried to hold Ketut and get Wayan down he slipped off my shoulder and fell onto the e hard floor.
    He then couldn't stand up, I tried to help him but he couldn't move. I sat there beside him in tears.
    Next day (today) I have brought him to an avian vet. She thinks he is ok, however taking X-rays just in case...
    Consult =$135.70
    X-rays = $180
    Medication = $ 21.70

    Costs of ducks was only $24!
    What can you do though???
    Results of X-ray... No fracture waste of money? No piece of mind...
    Looks like I'm in the poor house next few months....
    Love my ducklings to bits xx

    Awww, you're a good mama !! I wish we had an avian vet here. When my ducks and chickens get sick, I have to take care of them on my own. I always come here to this site, and read, I've learned so much here. Glad your duck is alright, I love duckies too !!!

    Blessings,
    Dianna

    Thanks, nothing is broken, just hoping no internal damage.
    Here is Wayan cuddling up to Ketut with his/her sore leg stretched out
