drops= how many cc

Five drops of 5% Ivermetcin pour on equals how many cc/ml? I want to worm my nine month old pullets. Thanks

20 drops = 1 cc = 1 ml

Therefore 5 drops = 0.25 (1/4) ml or 0.25 cc

In nursing school we were taught 15 drops = 1 cc.

This is not an accurate way of measuring because it depends on the size of the dropper.

You can pick up a 3cc syringe at the feed store, just one, without needle, for measuring. My vet keeps me supplied.
