drowned rats!

I was on vacation over the weekend, so I wanted to let the girls out today since I was gone. It has been slightly rainy here all day. Well I didnt check on the girls until now, and they look like little drowned rats!! The poor things. I have never seen my silkie look so pitiful! Anyways....I was just putting them up for the night and wondering if I should dry them some or if they will be ok.

The two frizzled polish roost together, and the silkie sleeps by herself in a dog house. They are over 10mo. old, and I am in fl so its warm here, but was just worried about them.

* It's probably a good idea to get the excess water off them tonight. Not sure where you are in Fl-- but with this big front and the humidity, might take them awhile to dry out.

I would try towel drying them or letting them sit in front of heater or if you have a blow dryer

They are chickens, they will be fine on their own.

All mine were soaked today they will be fine.

Their feathers should repel the water just fine.
