I bought a porcelain D'uccle hen at auction along with a porcelain roo. I thought the eggs were from the OEG hens until they hatched with fuzzy feet. I was expecting cream eggs from the porcelain since my mille's came from cream eggs, but I guess the cream eggs I did get were from a OEG haha!
Anyway, the porcelain hen was in a container with mille fluer chickens and the porcelain rooster. So it's most likely these chicks are crossed since I'm pretty sure they are not pure porcelains. They do not look like I remember my Mille chicks looking, they look paler to me from my memory. Is it possible these are pure D'uccle? They never fluffed up, seem to have a thinner bit of baby down than most chicks. Also chick 2, possible early guess as cockerel and 1 as hen?
