D'uccle??

I may be picking up this chick today but the lady doesn't know breed or gender. I think it is from a bantam assortment from ideal. She says it's about 8 weeks. Thoughts on gender/breed please? Thanks y'all!

No thoughts on breed, but 85% certain that it is a cockerel.

It could be, but if is, then its definitely not show quality, d'uccles are supposed to have beards and vulture hocks.

With the comb being red, I would say cockerel.

I think it could also be a Brahma bantam according to the ideal website. With y'all saying roo though I'll probably take a pass! Thanks so much!

Does it have a pea comb or a straight comb? A Brahma would have a pea, D'Uccle would be straight. Color wise, it looks more like a porcelain D'Uccle than a light or dark Brahma (to me at least). I got some Millie Fleur D'Uccles from TSC last year, and only one of them had a beard. I got rid of all of them because they were such poor representations of their breed.
I agree it looks like a cockerel.

Looked like a pea comb, but i thought coloring looked like a porcelain d'uccle as well. Either way, i passed because i didn't need another rooster! Thanks to all for your expertise! I truly appreciate your input.
