Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this? I have a black sexlink hen & and Runner duck who sat on an African goose egg together......and it hatched! Now they are co-parenting (today, gosling is 4 days old). The baby goes back and forth snuggling under each one, so cute! - they have begun to venture outside and the duck and hen take turns watching out for it (my flock free-ranges). I wonder how long this arrangement will last and what the "imprinting" implications are?

I find it amazing that 3 different species are able to come together and harmonize like this - the lessons animals teach us are infinite!

(I have about 15 hens + some chicks, 2 Roos, 2 African geese, 1 Swedish duck, 1 Runner duck, 2 dogs, 2 cats - everyone gets together very well)

Thank you for taking the time to read my post
