I went out yesterday to feed the chickens and ducks to find one of my younger Catayoga girls in bad shape. She was missing feathers on her back, wings and a larger section on the side of her neck. At first I thought it was a predator but after getting her cleaned up it looks like it was the work of our drake, who is really aggressive with the older girls. I am keeping the wounds moist with salvadine cream, but I need help with her wing! It is just kind of hanging and she tries to pull it in but it flops back down. Do I need to sling it? If so how?
