Hello! I just posted a thread about one of my girl's saggy bellies, but I have a second problem with my boy duck. His bill has looked like he scratched it up on something for a couple of weeks now, and I've been waiting to see if it would get better but there hasn't been any improvement. I'm not familiar with bill issues, such as if it's an infection or fungus, and I haven't been able to find any pictures of what bill health issues might look like. Here's a few photos I took today. Does this look like it might be anything serious? Let me know if I can provide more details.

The bill appears to be in good health; ducks are constantly rooting around in rocks, dirt, roots, etc. Oftentimes that will cause abrasions to the external keratinized layer that surrounds the bill. If you see flaking, that is liking the keratin replacing itself. Sometimes low humidity can cause flaking as well.
