We got two ducklings from TSC unidentified. One we THINK is a blue Swedish, but the other we really aren’t sure at all. Any ideas? They are about 7 weeks

You definitely have a blue swedish. Your other one looks like a magpie to me. They are pretty similar to the Ancona and get easily confused. I am no expert on them, but magpies are suppose to have a more standard confined coloring, while the Ancona have more of a smattering of color.

Thank you so much!

That one is tough! It's got a cap but it's not so defined. It also has more splattering of black in places other than across the back. I'm thinking ancona but don't quote me on that seriously. Those two can be difficult to tell the difference between, especially in hatchery stock
