duck breeding goose

i bought ducks and geese at same time last year. the male duck always took up with the female goose. when she lost her mate he took over. he breeds her all the time and now i bought some pilgrim geese and he is messing with them. he is the boss out there. i was wondering if they can cross breed? i thought about getting someone to hatch out the eggs just to see.
