We have 7 hens and a khaki campbell duck couple. Recently the duck couple have been bullying our sweet buff orp. The male starts it and others then join in. All of the buffs neck feathers are now gone and she's now isolated herself to sitting on the outside roost to stay out of reach. Today as she was trying to lay the female duck climbed in the nesting box and pinned her down. Any thoughts or advice? They have a large fenced in run and large coop. There are areas for her to get up and out of reach but I feel awful for her. Do we get rid of the ducks?

You should probably separate out the ducks and keep them in their own pen. Ducks can be bullies.

I had heard this before about ducks. All of our birds are now 1 year old and they've all been together this entire time too but this just started.

This is the first official breeding season for your ducks, they get feisty this time of year.
