Duck diaper questions. I don't know what I'm doing!

I have a pekin duck that was injured and is now living inside. If she heals properly and is able to she'll eventually live back outside with our other ducks. While she's inside I would like to get her diapers because she's making such a mess. I have a few questions about them though.
1) How do you measure to figure out the correct size?
2) Can she still lay eggs while wearing it?
3)Instead of disposable diapers for the inside is there reusable inserts for them?

Look the measurement up on Google their is lots of ways to do it.

I would imagin she would be able to lay the egg but it would get caught in the diaper and get converd in poo.

You could use a cloth diaper and have 7 or so and dump out the poop and wash the diaper.this in my opinion would be the most sensible way.

Look up patterns on google there is TONS!!
